The Unimpressive Ten of Pentacles

So you pulled the 10 of Pentacles in Reverse? Well then, you my friend, have a serious case of Tarot PMS. I get it, that deep dark bat cave you've created under the covers is the perfect shelter. Your greatest wish is that when you close your eyes, all the people around you will disappear. Making your way through an entire tub of ice cream makes sense… and the holes in your hoodie, you know, the ones you stick your thumbs through? It's prized possession that puts even the House of Gucci to shame.

Mary J Blige sums it best:

PMS ~   No More Drama

I'm down and out in depression

I think the worst of everything

My lower back is achin'

And my clothes don't fit

Now ain't that a bitch?

And to that I say, preach Ms. Mary. PREACH.

Unfortunately there's no magic TOM pill that's going to help you move this big cloud away. And, sorry guys, you too can suffer from this afflicting syndrome.

Ten 10oP rx Red Flags:

1. Pay your bills
2. Do not cancel important meetings
3. Don't hit delete before listening to the message
4. Understand that you are not ready to commit
5. Avoid making promises, they will be hard to keep at this time
6. Borrowing money now is a long term commitment to debt
7. A project, prospect or partnership will most likely lead to disappointment and financial loss
8. Gambling is out of the question, no trips to Vegas for you
9. Stay away from any substances that can form an unhealthy addiction
10. Consider carefully the circle of friends you keep company with

If you need a little boost, I always like to recommend my Pentacles go to crystal - Citrine. It's an excellent self-esteem booster, helps relieve depression and can act as a calming stone in stressful situations and can garner a bit of financial luck, too. If you need a big boost, invest in a salt rock lamp. By balancing the positive ions with negative in your surroundings, you're opening up your living space to better air quality which can ultimately help with depression, crankiness and low energy.

Reprogramming with Crystal Energy

I've always had a fascination with Crystals, and the therapeutic energies behind them.  As I work on sweeping away old habits, I'm excited to bring in new, natural and ancient energies.

I started with what seemed a natural new year stone.  Aquamarine.  The mainframe of my 2013 resolution is a commitment to my career, and making decisions and trying things I would never normally do.  I've trapped myself in a box of thinking/reminiscing on what I used to who, who I could have been, and where I should be.  I've been doing that for several years, only to realize now I'm a few desperate seconds away of boxing myself in permanently.  

Aquamarine is said to give you that extra little push... the courage to do.  Encouraging the holder to take responsibility for self, I was a little taken a back by how strong this little "gem" of a stone sharpened my focus.  "Threw it in my pocket and literally pounded the pavement and opened doors with confidence I long forgot I ever had."  It is extremely calming and truly eliminates noise.  With an affinity for communication, this has been an excellent tool in my sales ability and habits.

I think what I've enjoyed most about having this piece in my personal collection, is its ability to help me break some of my old and defeating self talk.  Specifically with respect to my attitude and work habits.

Aquamarine is my pick of the month for February.  Enjoy its ability to open your throat chakras and open your voice to new found confidence.
